Q- What should I bring?
A- $5 suggested donation, LOW “sand” or “beach” style chair – not more than 30-inches high (higher chairs must sit in back to avoid obstructing the view for others), water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and rain poncho if it’s sprinkling.
Q- What should I leave at home? (NOT ALLOWED)
A- You won’t be allowed to enter the festival with dogs, cats, ferrets, snakes, elephants or any pet or animal, alcoholic beverages (you can purchase beer or wine onsite), fireworks, weapons, tents and shade canopies, sun umbrellas that obstruct seated guests’ view of stages.
Q- What is available on site?
A- First-aid tent, bicycle parking, a variety of food and beverages for purchase from vendors, CDs, posters, clothing and other merchandise for purchase.
Q- Is there handicap accessibility?
A- There is handicap parking in front of the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum.
Q- Can I bring my pet?
A- NO! Pets will not be allowed in the festival area for the safety of others and your pets.
Q- Can I bring a lawn chair?
A- Yes, in fact we suggest it!! Also don’t forget to bring the sunscreen and remember to hydrate!!
Q- Can I bring in a cooler?
A- No, there will be no coolers or outside food and alcohol allowed!!
Q- Do I need to purchase a ticket?
A- No, this years festival is “FREE” to the public.
Q- Do you need volunteers?
We will fill you in on the types of volunteer positions available and you can choose one that’s right for you, then fill out a volunteer application and our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to discuss your application and opportunities that interest you. Q- Will the event be cancelled if it rains?
A- All efforts are made to ensure that the show will go on as long as it is safe for our guests and the performers. All concerts are rain or shine, be prepared for extremes such as heat, wind, or rain.
Q- Can I take pictures at the event?
A- Yes, still photography is allowed.
Q- Can I video record the performances and the event?

Q- How do I apply to vend or have a booth at the festival?
A- Applications are online and are open for submissions. Click Here for info on becoming a Vendor
Q- Where is Champaign?
A- Champaign is located in central Illinois. Champaign/Urbana is at the crossroads of I57 and I74. Approximately 2 1/2 hours south of Chicago, West of Indianapolis and North of St. Louis.
Q- Is there parking close to the festival?
A- Yes there is plenty of free parking close to the festival. During the festival there is no parking permitted in the closed off street area. Parking is then available within easy walking distance of the festival.
Q- Are there ATM’s at the Festival?
A- Central Illinois Bank is working with Fluid Events to accept credit/debit cards at our ticket booths, merchandise area and our beer tents. Money is also available from local businesses who have ATM.

Q- What other common sense policies are there?
A- Keep passages free, Don’t block aisles, walkways, esplanade or other public areas, Dispose of trash in designated receptacles, No distribution of commercial advertisements, Obey all federal, state and City of Champaign laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, Do not enter nonpublic areas, i.e. offices, storage, vendor booths, “performers only” areas, Respect property, Don’t take, deface, degrade, damage or destroy property, Don’t disrupt or interfere with festival operations, No physical or verbal harassment or abuse allowed, Obey directions of festival management team and its authorized contractors.
