Being that the festival is free for the community to attend, we rely heavily on the support of local organizations and businesses. The success of the Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival depends, in so many ways, on the efforts of volunteers, not for profits and friends of the Blues.

We have a variety of volunteering positions available including administrative duties, backstage assistance, ticket sales, working the entrance gates and working at the beer tents. Our primary need for volunteers is beer servers. There is no special expertise required for this volunteering position, not even bartending experience. The only requirement is that the individuals are18 years or older.

As an incentive, volunteering agencies will be allowed to hand out their business cards, wear their organization’s tee-shirts and hang up a banner at the festival. In addition, depending on the number of hours and/or the number of volunteers, agencies may have the opportunity for a free both space over the weekend.

Also, we will be providing prizes after the weekend. For every hour that a volunteer works they will earn one raffle ticket. At the end of the festival, we will raffle off prizes to the volunteers. For example, last year, our grand prize was a free trip for two to Jamaica. Check back often to see all the great prizes that are added.
